It is important for us to accurately assess your skills and qualifications in order to evaluate how well you can fit into our culture. To help us in this process, please use the following resume and interview guidelines.

Resume Guidelines

  • You can upload your resume using a MS Word or PDF document (max size, 200 KB).
  • Present your information in a clear, well organized and easy to read style.
  • Your resume should accurately reflect academic achievements and accomplishments. Use action verbs to clearly indicate your skills.
  • Set a clear objective, the specific position you are seeking and the skills you want to use on the job.
  • Only send essential personal information. Be sure your resume includes your name and contact information, including your email, phone and residence address. Do not include your gender, family status or personal identification numbers.
  • Ensure that your grammar reflects a professional and articulate resume.
  • Only report your university level of education, do not include elementary or secondary schooling.
  • Include information regarding extracurricular activities (such as volunteering work).
  • Include any awards you have received, articles you have published, or conference presentations you have given.

Suggestions for Success with Scanning Technology

  • Use standard fonts avoid characters that touch each other. Such fonts include: Times, Palatino, Helvetica, and New Century Schoolbook.
  • Underlined italics or fancy script fonts may not scan accurately.
  • Columns, centering, and indentations may change when converted to optically scanned text.
  • Stay within 10-14 point font size.
  • If you use bullets, include a space after each bullet.
  • Use multiple synonyms for the same skills to be sure your qualifications are clearly defined.
  • Be descriptive in your titles so your experiences are not missed (i.e. Engineering Intern or Business Process Analyst as opposed to intern or analyst).
